Not only did we receive lectures from faculty and guest speakers, but each summer session participant gave a paper during our days in Budapest. See Issues and Resources Reports for a list of topics and by whom they were presented.

For a listing of the towns and cities we visited and the dates we visited them, please see our Itinerary.

A highlight of our stay in Budapest was a visit to the “Castle District” to see national museums. The district is on Buda Hill overlooking the Danube River. It is known not only for its museums and castle but also for the magnificent Gothic cathedral that features tiled roofing in colorful patterns. The view is beautiful, and so are the buildings and statuary.
