Our next academic field trip took us north into Slovakia, through the Carpathian mountains and into Poland, where we spent three days in the beautiful city of Cracow. On the way, we toured the Arva Castle, then were delayed in reaching our evening destination because of a traffic accident involving a truck and two cars ahead of us -- not our bus, fortunately!
