GARY "Dawg" SIPPERLEY
HARMONICA, GUITAR, VOCALS

 Gary, a San Diego native, started playing  blues at the age of 12  and dedicated himself to mastering the harmonica by listening to all the blues greats on old vinyl records. It didn’t take him long to develop his own unique style and was soon performing with other well known San Diego musicians like Bill Magee, Country Dick Montana (The Beatfarmers) and Joel and Jeff Kmak of the 'Flying Putos'.

For the past 3 years Gary has been performing  throughout San Diego county with The Daily Blues band and in January 2005 he and Vic Morris, of  The Tall DudeZ , created Blue Dawg.


VIC "Dawg" MORRIS
LEAD GUITARS, MANDOLIN, VOCALS

   Vic’s reputation as one of San Diego’s premiere guitarists has grown in leaps and bounds over the past decade as the lead guitarist for the Tall DudeZ.  A musician’s musician Vic has performed  with virtually every music personality in and around San Diego County. His innovative arrangements of classic blues and rock  tunes are the backbone of the band’s unique sound and wide appeal.

   Rarely seen without a guitar in his hands, Vic can be found giving guitar lessons to the next generation of local performers when he's not amazing audiences on his own.

 


JIMMY "Dawg" DOBBINS
BASS GUITAR, VOCALS

A perennial member of club and touring bands, Jimmy has earned a   reputation as an energetic and congenial performer. His 'bottom-line,   in the driver's seat', style of bass has helped propel the rhythm section of numerous musical collaborations
both locally and internationally.

    Behind a ready smile and an easy going manner is a dedicated professional whose popularity among fans and musicians alike, has made Jimmy a very familiar face on the San Diego music scene for the past three decades.


TED "Dawg" GANN
DRUMS, PERCUSSION, VOCALS

  Born into a musical family (his father is Chuck Gann), Ted started    playing drums at age 5 and guitar at age 9. His first “paying gig” was at   age 12 . By the time he was 14 Ted was already performing with his own band.

Ted’s San Diego credits include such well known bands as Amaray, Smokey Joe South, The Paul Morris Band, Under The Gun and Desert Rain. In 1989 Ted received both Drummer of the Year and Best Male Vocalist honors from the San Diego CCMA


 MARK "Stett Dawg" STETTLER
"ITINERANT" LEAD/RHYTHM GUITAR, VOCALS

 Stett is probably better known locally for his impeccable motorcycle repairs & modifications,
as well as his outrageous original bikes, but for 18 years he was the lead vocalist/singer/songwriter
for the Orange County band, Showdown. But for a simple "twist o' fate", thousands of happy bikers
would still be walking. Showdown was actively scouted by many of  the major recording labels but fate had other plans.
