The following two documents are from Muslim sites, They address the cult of Qadianism, which we briefly discussed in class. This cult does NOT hold to one of the primary doctrines of orthodox Islam - mainly that Mohammed was the "Seal" or the last of the profits. Qadianism also holds that Esa (Jesus) died a natural death several years after his "supposed" crucifixion. What makes these two articles interesting is to see the logic used to counter Qadianism by the orthodox Islamic writters, and the fact that they use scriptures not only from the Quran, but the New Testament as well. There is one very oobvious misquote from the Bible - can you find it? - which shows at least poor proof reading or lack of knowledge, and at worst purposeful abuse of the Christian Holy scriptures. One might ask why if the Qur-an is the actually words of Allah (God) speaking why bother to reference the Christian documents at all. When expressing our views or making our case we must be sure to be accurate in the use of any material we present. To do otherwise not only weakens our argument, but causes reason for skepticism on the part of not only those we are in dialoge with, but any who hear or read what we have said.
