A quick shot to show how the dome connects. These pins are actually needle bearings that I was starting to wonder why I had saved. They fit perfectly into the M3 hole in the standoff and the slight misalignment gives enough friction to hold it on tight. This completely re-affirms my belief in PackRatism |

A side view showing the power and programming switches. The top switch is a DPDT that shorts MODA and MODB to ground to put the 68HC11F1 into "Special bootstrap" mode for downloading new programs. The 4 pin connector just below the top LEDs is for TTL level serial communication. |

And a view of the whole robot. Notice the wheel sensors showing on either side of the sonar. I am currently getting about 1cm resolution from the sensors, and have just begun writing software. We'll see if it is accurate enough. |
