This ia a good shot of the power plant that has lowered the NJBA UnblownFuelJet record several times in 2000, 2001 & 2002. The cuurent numbers to beat are 7.33 et/139 mph. Hot Tub is a nine time NJBA High Points champ.
The following manufacturers have been very helpful: Crane Cams, MSD Ignition Systems, Nitrous Oxide Systems.

It takes a lot of effort to put together record breaking runs. Here are the guys that make it happen at the track: Mike, Jack, Jerry, Kevin, Brad, Mark. (Not shown are Joan, who keeps Hot Tub spotless and Dave, who keeps the motor in race condition back at his DNE Motorsports shop).

This is "Sweet Thunder II", an 18ft California Performance, powered by a DNE 500 inch BBC and an MPD built Berkeley Jet Drive. The owner/driver is Mark Roznos of Seal Beach, Ca. In 2004, "Sweet Thunder II" was runnerup in ProGasJet and in the 9.00-9.49 bracket. Mark stepped it up in 2005, winning the 9-9.49 bracket championship and the Overall Bracket High Point Trophy. "Red Dragon"is Joe Morgan's drag and river race toy. Brute power comes from a dry-sumped 500 inch BBC built by DNE. Thrust is generated by an MPD blue-printed Berkeley Jet featuring an American Turbine SS impeller. The combination is monitored by an Edelbrock Qwikdata System, installed and maintained by MPD. The CP18 Gullwing rockets out of the gate for 8.40 sec Qmile ET's.
