It is clear that the Varginha case is one of the most convincing
UFO cases in the public eyes. Continuous information is coming
out of Brazil due to the dedication of the UFO researchers there.
Included on this page is a very comprehensive report from one of
the most well known Brasilian UFO Researchers, who I had the
pleasure to meet in February of 1994, Claudeir Covo. This
information was sent to us by our dear friend Pedro Cunha,
another tireless and dedicated researcher, who (with the help of
his wife) translated this report into English.

From the ufologist Rogerio Porto Breier, who is kindly
colaborating with the Terraqueos list, I got this report about
the Varginha case which will be published in Planeta Magazine
this month. Unfortunately, I am publishing this document with a
delay of one week, because as I explained before, I don't know
what happened to the original diskette. I re-scanned the text
again. It maybe happen that some of the written words are wrong
(TN: in the original text in Portuguese) because of the OCR
conversion. Read, and then tell me what you think.

THE VARGINHA'S ETs
The ufologists below represented by the renown groups of research
to which they belong to, after more than three months of intense
investigations, as well as comparisons of information from
different orders, don't have the slightest doubt of what happened
in Varginha. On the following 2oth day immediatly after January
of the year 1996, a truly and complex operation involving
military authorities and civil professionals, which resulted in
the CAPTURE of non biologicaly classified creatures,
para-scientifcaly called "EBEs" (Extratrrestrial Biological
Entities), which were maintained UNDER MEDICAL OBSERVATION AND
LATELY TAKEN OUT OF THE CITY. This is a unique fact in Brazil,
which confirmation can bring invaluable and non mesurable impacts
of cultural, philosofical order and of a huge proportion.
But, the consensus among ufologists of all over the planet that
there's clearly a world process of cover up and disinformation
about facts of that type, being known the incontestable evidences
of such a procedure, whose reasons are obvious and inumerous. The
Ufology and related studies are fighting for more than fifty
years for the actual information and the public recognize of such
events occur, because the right to the truth is one of the main
targets of all the Human race.
If you were a direct or indirect witness of the happenings in
Varginha, please look to us and help us to definitely solve them,
which means a spectacular aquisition and also history marking.

taking part of the front line of the group of ufologists who are
researching the Varginha Case. Any military or civil people who

The Varginha's ETs

The great majority of the population of Varginha, an important
town in the South of Minas Gerais, still have no notion of what
happened in the region, on 20th/01/1996 (January 20th, 1996).
Even today, when the research is still at full steam, the whole
town still asks if everything of what was said is not a
"halucination" of the brazilian ufologists or if really there was
something real. Of the 120,000 inhabitants, several hundreds saw
something strange in the day and following of 20th/01/1996, but
only a few dozen of people, and some civilians and military,
truly national heroes, had the courage to come to the public, or
looked for ufologists who are taking care of the case, and
reported what they saw. Many civilian people had a direct of
indirect participation of the facts, but unfortunately the great
majority lost courage before the press and the ufologists. Fear
of being laughed at? Fear of the ridiculous? Fear of loosing the
job? Fear of retaliation? Hidden interests? Lamentable.
The fear to "open one's mouth", to the military, is perfectly
understandable, as the reprisals are grave, that is, military
prosecution, humiliation, jail, transfer (invisible punishment),
removal, expulsion, etcetera, but, by the civilian people, it
doesn't make sense. Of the inumerous names that we have in our
hands, of people that lost the courage, in the future, in the
right moment, will be published by the press. The ufologists in
the front line of this case are writing a book, and soon we will
have news of a great movie production from North America.
Contacts have been done. The Roswell case is small before what
happened in Varginha. It won't be strange if Steven Spielberg
gets interest for the case. Thus, television, radio, newspapers,
magazines, cinema, books, etc..., are and will continue to
register the historic facts, as well as praising the name of the
heroes and revealing the names of those who lost courage. There
is still time for those people to look for the ufologists and
talk about what they saw and heard. It is a matter of revealing
the truth to the public. All the population should stop and
evaluate what the press is divulging. It is time to stop teasing
and to reflect about the facts. Don't forget that several
ufologists who got involved in the Varginha Case are lawyers,
entepreuners, engineers, medical doctors, etcetera... Such
persons will never "waste time" if there weren't something of
real and concreet in the facts.
THE UFOLOGIC "SENSE OF SMELL"
Probably all that was divulged about the Varginha Case, would
have been passed in white clouds, and the population would never
had knowledge of the facts, if in Varginha wouldn't live the
important lawyer, ufologist and friend Ubirajara Franco
Rodrigues, that with his ufologic "sense of smell" soon realized
that something real happened in the region. Ubirajara returned
from Sao Tome das Letras, a known town near Varginha, in
21st/01/1996, when he learned that some of the youngsters had
seen a strange being, the day before, which had been captured by
the military people in the region and taken to the town's
hospital. After one week at starting the research Ubirajara was
already divulging the facts to the press in general.
The entrepreuner, ufologist and friend Vitorio Pacaccini, from
Belo Horizonte, after getting to know the facts through the
press, went down to Tres Coracoes, town where his mother lives,
getting together with Ubirajara to research the case. Pacaccini
also was an important researcher in the Varginha Case, mainly
after the contact with several military people who reported the
fact. After that, INFA - Instituto Nacional de Investigacao de
Fenomenos Aeroespaciais, presided by Claudeir Covo, together with
Edison Boaventura Junior, Jamil Vila Nova, Eduardo Mondini and
Oswaldo Mondini, got together into the investigation of the
Varginha Case, thus forming the already known Group of the Seven,
who obtained important information about the passage of the ETs
in Campinas, and Sao Paulo. Many other ufologists, directly or
indirectly, also contribuited for the case.
After six months of research, being that the Varginha Case is
still under research, the ufologist got 15 important testimonies
taped in audio and video, and seven being of civilians and eight
from military people who reported many details and the several
steps of the facts that occured in Varginha. For obvious reasons,
the names of the informers are under absolute secrecy. Who knows
in the near future such names will be liberated to the press, and
when there will be authorization for that.
Thus, based in the investigations, the ufologists found out
thousands of important details, which will be presented in a
short form in this article. Many details area totally the
expression of the truth, being that some came in a fragmented
form, of which they will be better researched, but helped to put
the enormous puzzle together. For sure, all that is being
reported here, is only a small part of what happened in Varginha.
All the action involved military from different areas, and we
have here a great difficulty to clear the facts, because they
deny everything, officialy because, lamentable, the subject
flying saucer and extra-terrestrial beings, at a world level, are
considered as "NATIONAL SECURITY", and are visibly covered up.
THE GREAT WORLD FLAP
Since August/1995, when humanity had the knowledge of the autopsy
of an alleged extra-terrestrial, which sadly is a fraud (read
Revista Planeta, September/1995), coincidently there were an
frightening increase of ufologic occurences, where people from
different countries sighted, photographed and filmed serveral
UFOs over the skies. There was a great world Flap, that still
continues, that took the main means of communication to dedicate
many programs about the ufologic matter. In Brazil, besides
Varginha, there were several towns which appeared, not only in
sightings, but also with photographs, films, landings,
eletromagnectic effects, sightings of beings and even cases of
people being attacked by "strange creatures". Joacaba in Santa
Catarina, Sumare and neighbouring towns in the interior of Sao
Paulo and also in the coast line, and south of Minas. Guarabira
in Paraiba and Manaus in Amazonas. Some military sources, radar
operators, confirmed that there was an increase in the number of
significative 'plots' on the radar screens in the last 13 months.
NATIONAL ALERT
In the days preceding the facts occurred on 20th/01/1996 (January
20th, 1996) in Varginha, many people saw several lights in the
region's skies. Brazilian military secretly, informed the
ufologists that the north american military were tracking these
objects through satellites and informed the Brazilian Government
of the great UFO concentration in the South of Minas Gerais.
Without any doubts, CINDACTA I, in Brasilia, was also tracking
such objects. Many military people speak about a military
cooperation agreement between Brazil and USA. The tracking by
satellites allow the detection of the fall or landing of a craft
with an error of a few meters.
By the action of the military people in Varginha there's no doubt
that they really knew in anticipation of what was happening. Such
information was obtained in fragmented form, but give us an idea
of how the military people acted quickly. Probably CINDACTA I
realized that a "plot" disappeared from the radar screens.
Conclusion, if crashed or landed, where abouts? Varginha. South
of Minas. What was the nearest military base to that point? ESA,
Escola de Sargento das Armas of the Army in Tres Coracoes, 27 Km
away from Varginha. A simple phone call and all the operation was
started, under the coordination of the Servico de Inteligencia do
Exercito (Army Intelligence Service), known as S2.
20th/01/1996 (January 20th, 1996) - 01:30 Hs (AM)
The couple Eurico Rodrigues de Freistas (40) and Oralina Augusta
de Freitas (37), in a farm 10 Km away from the Varginha's center
woke up because of the noise of frightened cattle, which were
running from one side to another. As they opened the window, they
saw what seemed to be a small craft, about a minibus size, in a
submarine shape, that hovered slowly over the place, for about 40
minutes, at an altitude of 5 meters high above the ground. The
ship was dark (lights off) and had on one of its ends an
apparently damaged structure and was releasing a lot of smoke.
The couple described that there was no noise from the ship and
that apparently the damaged structure pieces of fuselage were
hanging, swinging as clothes in the wind. The ship slowly flew
towards Jardim Andere, a quarter block in Varginha.
The first conclusion drawn by the ufologists, not a definite one,
is that this ship had one of its ends damaged by an explosion,
which scattered a great quantity of small metal pieces around the
region, and the ship still remained in the air during some time
and after that it crashed, near to Jardim Andere, probably
wounding part of its crew, which seeked for shelter in the woods
near the quarter block. There are military people assurring that
the ship was recovered and sent to USA. This fact hasn't being
confirmed so far.
20th/01/1996 (January 20th, 1996) - 08:30 HS (AM)
Varginhas Fire Corps received a phone call, no one knows from
who, telling them there was a strange animal in Jardim Andere
quarter. Perhaps one of the locals have called the Fire Corps, or
perhaps that person had called 190 and the Military Police had
called the Fire Corps. There is also the hypothesis that the Army
had called the Fire Corps. Nets, gloves and equipment were
prepared and a vehicle was moved to the locality, with 4 men,
under the coordination of Major Maciel.
20th/01/1996 - (January 20th, 1996) 10:30 HS (AM)
Within Jardim Andere, Suecia Street, in front of number 3,
there's a gully, right bellow the railway line, leading to a
small wood. In this street, at least three adults and three
children were following all the movement. Some people say that
one of the kids threw stones at the strange creature, that was
coming down the bank, crossed over the railway line and hid in
the woods. The Fire Corps men arrived, went down the gully, and
spotted the strange being, and with the help of a net, quickly
captured the being. According to some of the witnesses, the
strange creature was dizzy and did not offer any resistence.
The Fire Corps climbed up the steep bank and found, besides the
Fire Corps vehicle, a Army vehicle. The strange creature, still
in the net, was put in a wooden box, which was covered with a
tarpaulin, and was put on top of an Army truck, under the guard
of two soldiers. This truck went to ESA, in Tres Coracoes, and
the Fire Corps vehicle returned to its quarters.
From a distance of 100 meters there were some bricklayers and hod
carriers, who were filling up a cement slab, and followed all the
military movements there. As for the adults and children who were
there, they went up the road, and Henrique Jose de Souza, a
bricklayer, asked them what the military people were doing in the
gully, and they said they had captured a strange creature. At
least two military people assurred that this being was kept in
captivity, in ESA, for 24 hours. After that it was put in a cage,
and by helicopter departed to Brasilia, and after that a jet
airplane had gone to the USA with it. Such fact also is still not
confirmed.
20th/01/1996 (January 20th, 1996) - 14:00 HS
A civilian witness, who had been in the military service, and who
asked to not be publicly identified, observed at least seven
military people from the Army, with tipical camouflage garment,
armed with FAL (light automatic rifle), who were coming, on foot
by the railway line and neighbourhood, doing a type of scanning
of the region, when they got in the small wood where the first
being was captured by the Fire Corps earlier in the morning. In
one determined moment this witness heard three shots from the FAL
rifles, which had a well known metallic sound. A military person
in Campinas said that one of the creatures was helping another
lying on the ground, apparently wounded.
Perhaps this creature had shown an attack reaction sign against
the military people and ended up hit on the chest by three FAL
shots. The military person informed that one of these creatures
was different from the others, with black fur covering its body.
Such information is still not confirmed and is under
investigation by the ufologists. The civilian witness said that a
few minutes after the three shots, the military people came out
of the woods with two bags, typically used by the Army. One of
the bags had "something" moving a lot inside, while the other one
had "something" imobile. The volume in each one of the bags was
equivalent to that captured being by the Fire Corps earlier in
the morning.
Consequently, if these two bags contained two more strange
creatures, one alive and the other one dead, we would have the
capture of three of these beings, two alive and one dead. Such
information, by arriving fragmented, were not 100% trustworthy.
We are waiting for some of the military people who participated
in this operation, to tell us more details.
20th/01/1996 - (January 20th, 1996) 15:30 HS
The youngsters Katia Andrade Xavier, 22, Liliane Fatima da Silva,
16 and Valquiria Aparecida da Silva, 14, were returning home by
foot, after work. When they were crossing over a empty plot of
land, at Benevenuto Braz Vieira Street, beside number 76, land
that is three quarters blocks away from the place where the Fire
Corps had captured the first creature, they saw something
frightening. A being of about 1.60 Meters height, skinny, dark
brown shiny skin, as if it had passed some kind of cream on it,
with many bulgy veins, two legs with enormous feet with two toes
on each one, with two arms and hands with three fingers in each
one, a big head with three bone formations on the top, one on
each side and the other on the center of the head, without any
apparent hair, big eyes, blood red color and bulging out like
frog's eyes. The military people who saw the captured beings,
besides confirming this description, added by saying that the
beings had only two holes instead of a nose, a small mouth, a
black thin tongue, and about the damages caused by the storm. As
a matter of fact, the military had knowledge that there were more
beings in the region. At least one, the one that Katia, Liliane
and Valquiria had seen at about 15:30 o'clock. And one more
capture happened, the fourth one, now by the Military Police. The
captured being may or may not be the same seen by the three
girls. In the same way as the capture earlier in the morning by
the Fire Corps, this strange creature also did not offer more
resistance as it was being captured. It was apparently dizzy, or
ill, or wounded. The Military Police took the creature at first
to the town's first-aid station, were its entrance was refused.
Consequently the creature was taken to Hospital Regional.
21st/01/1996 - (January 21st, 1996) 01.30 HS (AM)
We don't know why there was the transference of the strange
creature from Hospital Regional to Hospital Humanitas. The
Regional is nearer to the center of Varginha, while Humanitas is
nearer the outskirts. Many people saw the strange movements of
the Army, Fire Corps and Military Police in the two hospitals.
Probably, the reason for the transference was because Humanitas
is a better equipped hospital, and for fact of being away from
towncentre, less people would see all the military activity. On
the following day, Sunday, cars were observed arriving at
Humanitas with number plates from Belo Horizonte, with military
people, as well as medical doctors from USP (University of Sao
Paulo) and UNICAMP (University of Campinas). We still don't know
what kind of treatment the beings have or had, since we don't
know if the being that was shot three times (FAL) was also taken
to the Hospital. Everything points out that it was. The
examination, X rays, photographs, the films and thousands of
other details remained restricted to the military people. The
being that entered the Humanitas alive ended up dying there. We
don't know if it died of natural causes, or if it was badly
injured, if it was ill or yet, what would be regretful, if it had
'been' killed.
22nd/01/1996 (January 22nd, 1996) - 16:00 HS
The ESA, with the help of three Mercedes Benz trucks, 1418 type,
covered with tarpaulin on the top, and many vehicles without
identification, surely working for the Intelligence Service (S2),
start the retreat action of the beings from Hospital Humanitas. A
series of manoeuvres to elude, through the town, with the help of
portable communication radios and mobile telephones, one by one
each truck parked backwards on the side door of the Humanitas
Hospital. In this place there were about 15 people, doctors,
nurses, military people from the Army, from the Fire Corps and
Military Police. A special reinforced box, a kind of coffin, on
top of two easels, received the body of the being. The cover,
that was larger on top, was put on the box, and sealed. After
that, the box was wrapped with black plastic canvas, was put in
the truck, and secure tightened. The back tarpaulin was put over
the back of the truck and its sides where there were plastic
windows, which were also shut down, in a manner that no one could
see what was inside the truck. The three trucks returned to ESA
before dark. A special security scheme was made for the arrival
of the trucks at ESA. One of them ended up going through a road,
against the traffic, right in front of the side gate of the
quarter. A special security scheme was made to "take care of the
trucks". When the trucks returned to ESA, in Campestre quarter,
they were seen by Dr. Marcos A. Carvalho Mina, veterinary doctor
in Varginhas Zoo.
23rd/01/1996 (January 23rd, 1996) - 04:00 HS (AM)
A special convoy leaves ESA towards Campinas. A Kombi van is
ahead, the three trucks in line and behind other several vehicles
without identification. Five hours journey. Around 9:00 (AM) they
arrived at Escola Preparatoria de Cadetes do Exercito (Cadets
Army Academy), in Campinas, in Sao Paulo State interior. Later,
the beings were taken to UNICAMP, and delivered to the well known
forensic doctor Dr. Fortunato Badan Palhares, who together with
Dr. Koradin Nesve and a special team of civilians and military
people, started the autopsies and scientific study on the beings.
Employees of the laboratory where Dr. Badan works, thoght it
strange the fact that, on the arrival of the beings to the lab,
they were asked to leave the place, fact that had never happened
before.
At least three military people informed that one of the beings
was taken to a secret underground laboratory underneath Clinicas
Hospital, in UNICAMP. They also informed that there is another
underground laboratory underneath the Biology Building. And
another creature had been taken to one of the IML refrigerators
(Legal Medical Institute) where the morgue of the Amarias
Cemetery is. Several military people informed they had never seen
this place so well guarded as in February, March and April, 1996.
Also, the number of military people seen within this period,
circulating in UNICAMP was frigthening. All these capture
operations, transportation to Regional Hospital, transference
from the Regional to Humanitas, the retreat from Humanas to ESA
and transportation to Campinas were coordinated by Lieutenant
Colonel Olimpio Wanderley dos Santos, by Captain Ramires, and by
Lieutenant Tiberio from PE (Army Police ) and by Sargeant
Pedrosa. The convoy was driven by truck drivers corporal Vassalo,
Soldier Cirilo and Soldier Melo. All these military people are
from ESA.
One of the military people informed that in one of the trucks
there were thousands of tiny unknown metal fragments. Probably
the fragments are from that ship sighted by the couple, Eurico
and Oralina, apparently damaged. Therefore, in this big puzzle,
we conclude that the three trucks that went to Campinas were
carrying in the first of the convoy a dead being, in the second
another dead being and in the third the metal fragments.
23rd/01/1996 (January 23rd, 1996)
A Buffalo airplane leaves the Canoas Air Force Base in Rio Grande
do Sul. Inside it there were three containers, a box and many
military people. In the first container there were generators, in
the second the receiver equipment and computers, and in the third
a small workshop. In the box there was an dissassembled anthena.
In other words, a portable sophisticated radar. The airplane went
to the South of Minas. This radar must have been installed in
some region or town near Varginha. At this time there were many
alien ships flying over the region. Military people from within
ESA said that on a certain night they were worried with the
hypothesis of a retaliation from the extra-terrestrials. At this
time, several military people from the USA Army and Air Force
arrived at ESA by helicopter. An area within ESA was interdicted.
Several agents from the Intelligence Service (S2) and from
various points of the country were sent to ESA. Local
inhabitants, of many years, had never seen such activity in ESA.
That was something to call the attention of even the most
'naive'. If they were trying to hide something from the public,
they failed in their methodology. The Military people who took
part in the operation, and even today, are being observed and
followed by S2. Even today, the situation is not good in ESA.
Recently, some of the military people from ESA said that "inside
here, things are heating up". They also said that if General Lima
and Lieutenant Colonel Olimpio hear someone pronouncing the name
"ET" or Pacaccini, they will get at least 10 days in jail.
26th/01/1996 (January 26th, 1996)
Several NASA Military officers arrived at UNICAMP. The official
excuse was that they wanted to select Brazilian scientists to
take part in future space missions with the americans. Probably,
they were military officers who know deeply the details about
flying saucers and extra-terrestrial beings. Military people said
that the american military personel was working together with
Brazilian military people inside the underground laboratory. The
proportion is 50% of brazilians and 50% of americans. Certainly,
if there is a list with the names of the Brazilian scientists,
those scientists will only travel in their dreams in the space
shuttle. They will remain the rest of their lives thinking about
that possibility.
28th/02/1996 (January 28th, 1996) - 19:50 HS
Mrs. Thereza Christina Strarace Tavares de Magalhaes Texeira,
wife of the deceased Mayor of Campinas, Mr. Adlaberto Magalhaes
Teixeira, was forbidden to enter the Hospital das Clinicas (HC)
at UNICAMP, where her husband was when sick. She was very uspet
at the lack of organization of the local security scheme. With
the help of a mobile phone, after explaining that she was the
wife of the Mayor, on the arrival of Dr. Otavio Rizzi Coelho the
problem was resolved, and she was allowed inside. Some people
believe that on this night the body of the extra-terrestrial was

The general administrator of NASA, Daniel Goldin, visited the
installations of the National Institute of Space Research, the
INPE, and signed agreements of space cooperation between the two
entities. There had been such such agreements in the past, but it
is the first time that the principal director of NASA comes to
the country to get to know the national scientific display.
People who are following the Varginha Case, civil and military,
believe that the presence of David Goldin and of Warren
Christopher in Brazil ivolves agreements in relation to the
beings captured in Varginha, and also a form of "justifying"the
presence of military staff who acts inside NASA at UNICAMP.

Inside Vaerginha's Zoo there is a restaurant called Paiquere,
which is rented out to third parties. On this night when a party
was being held, Mrs. Terezinha Gall Clepf, 67, wife of Mr. Marcos
Clepf, an former council member of the town, went out - on the
varandah - to smoke a cigarrette. The place was totally dark,
looking to her left, about 4 metres away she saw a being exactly
like the one described by the young girls and by the military,
being that this one had sort of yellow helmet on its head. Mrs.
Terezinha said that she had the impression that the enormous red
eyes of the being amitted a kind of luminiscence, which allowed
her to see its face very clearly. The being was standing up
behind the railinigs that go round the varandah. Being dark, she
couldn't see further details of the body. For a few minutes, Mrs.
Terezinha remained still looking at the strange creature and
vice-versa. In no moment did the creature move or make any kind
of noise. Frightened, Mrs. Terezinha entered the restaurant and
remained silent under the emotional impact of the vision. Soon
after she returned to the varandah, and there was the creature.
Desperate, she went back, pulled her husband by the arm and made
out of the place quickly. Mr. Marcos, seeing that his wife was
not well and was upset, took her home. Only afterwards in the car
did she tell her husband what she saw.
Until today, Mrs. Terezinha shows signs of nervousness when she
remembers that strange being. Coincidence or not, at that time,
in 12 days, 5 animals mysteriously died. Two deer, a tapir, and a
blue macaw and an ocelot. The bilogist and directors of the Zoo,
Dr. Leila Cabral had never seen anything like it before. The vet
Dr. Marcos sent the entrails to Belo Horizonte for examinations.
Only in one of the deer was there found a kind of caustic
intoxication. Nothing was found in the other animals. The reason
for their death is not known. Dr. Marcos believes it was merely
coincidental. But Dr. Leila believes that it has something to do
with the presence of this strange creature at the Zoo. At the
time at the end of January/1996, when everyone was comenting
about the extra-terrestrials in the town, Dr. Leila met a fireman

receives the visit of four men, who did not identify themselves,
practically almost invading her house, dressed in black suits and
tie. Two young men and two older ones. Two brownish skin and two
white skin. After hearing the girls, they said that they were
their "gold mine". In an attempt to bribe, these four men offered
them money enough to make their dreams come true, in exchange for
a tape recording or video where Liliane and Valquiria would say
that they had seen no strange creature, and that everything was
only a joke. We don't know if these four men were military
people, or religious fanatics or someone else "testing" the
girls.

In a historic meeting at Ubirajara's home, in Varginha, with 48
people, between ufologists and journalists, Mrs. Luiza, Liliane
and Valquiria told the press about the bribe attempt from four
unknown men. Claudeir read a manifesto that was given to the
press, about the cover up of the case in that region and
Pacaccini revealed the names of the military officers who took
part in the whole operation. At the same moment the press started
to call ESA to know more details, but everything was denied.
08th/05/1996 (May 8th, 1996) - 11:00 HS
ESA Commander, Brigadier General Sergio Pedro Coelho Lima held a
press conference and read a clarifying note, saying that no
element or material from Escola de Sargento das Armas had any
connection with the alleged facts. At the end, a reporter from
EPTV asked him where were the other military people that were
cited? He answered, working, for the Army and the Nation. Can you
prove that? Prove to who? To the press. We don't have anything to
prove and what I had to say was read in this note. Thus, General
Lima turned his back and left, leaving the reporters totally
convinced that something really strange had happened in Varginha.

Another historic fact in the Varginha Case was the research done
by Dr. John Mack, a Psychiatry Professor in Harvard Medical Shool
in USA. Dr. Mack, besides being a Psychiatrist is a Phd on this
subject. He is the author of the book "Abduction - Human
Encounters With Aliens", and also was represented in the film
"Intruders" by an actor in the main role of a Psychiatrist. After
many hours of questions with Liliane, with Valkiria and Mrs.
Luiza and with Mrs. Terezinha, Dr. Mack concluded that they are
speaking the truth, and they really saw a very strange being. For
Ufology, this conclusion from Dr. Mack is very important.

In almost absolute secrecy, for the first time in Brazil, a state
Minister met with with the Armed Forces High Command outside the
capital of the country. A Historic fact. The army Minister
Zenildo Zoroastro de Lucena, along with 29 generals, including
the Armed Forces General Staff Chief, General Paulo Neves de
Aquino, the chiefs of management and departmets and the eight
military commanders of the area met together in Campinas, to
carry out a task, that would easily be carried out by military
people of lower rank. They visited the Escola Preparatoria de
Cadetes do Exercito (Academy School for Army Cadets) to evaluate
the EsPCex 2000 project, that aims at getting informatics into
education and the creation of a modern teaching environment for
the cadets as well as the installation of monitoring system by
satellite. After visiting the 28th Armored Infantry Battalion
(BAB) to evaluate the 16 computers already acquired from a total
of 26, that aim to create administrative procedures and the
preparation of soldiers. So being, they went to EMBRAPA (A
Brazilian Research Center for Agriculture and related subjects)
to get to know the geographic information system. On the
following day they went to the town Pirassununga (Sao Paulo), to
the 2nd Regiment of Combat Vehicles a unity of the 11th Armored
Infantry Battalion, to accompany the work being done to receive
40 Leopard Combat vehicles of German make, recently acquired.
Military people from various places of the state of Sao Paulo,
including the littoral, informed us that on the days before the
visit of the Minister in Campinas, several meetings took place in
Campinas, in Pirassununga, in Braganca Paulista, and probably
also in other states, involving high rank military people. They
said that everyone wanted to go to Campinas to look at the
strange creatures. Disagreements and misunderstandings even
occurred between some military people.

Seneca bimotor airplane. During 40 minutes we flew over all the
region, from the farm of Eurico and Oralina, until the place
where the strange creatures were captured. The main objective was
to find out the place of UFO crash. We were looking for a
depression in the ground, or for a clearing in the undergrowth or
still some burnt area. Unfortunately, we had no success, but the
photographic and videos registers remained in this part of the
research, as well as the gratitude to the owner of the airplane
and his pilot.

In Brasilia, the Congress approves a project that allows the
Brazilian Air Force to have powers to shoot down hostile
airplanes.
The measure aims to give more power to the Air Force, in its
combat agaist narcotrafic and contraband, being able to shoot
down airplanes in clandestine flights who don't respond to
identification orders. Of course everyone now is asking what the
Air Force will do if the target is a flying saucer. Certainly,
becauser of former failures, when to an extent, the Air Force
will accopany the target from a distance, only registering the
fact in photos and videos.
STRANGE CREATURES
Until the present moment, we have absolute certainty of the
capture of two beings, confirmed by military people who
participated in the facts. The other two, we are still
researching, in the sense of finding military people who had
participated in the facts and decide to colaborate with the
ufologists, under secrecy. If really the military captured four
beings, two being dead, they were taken to UNICAMP, one of them
alive, would have been taken to USA. The last one, also captured
alive, we have no news of its whereabouts. These beings are
classified as Delta types. They are a species of trained animals
and used by Alfa and Beta beings in more simple missions, as for
collecting minerals and vegetals. They would be a specie of
simian of extra-terrestrial origin, as well as more intelligent
than our simians. The ufologists have classified them as EBEs -
Extra-terrestrial Biological Entities. As far as we know until
the present date, three beings were captured in Varginha, with
viscous skin and brown color and one with all the body covered
with black fur (hair), including on top of the head, being that
the two types have red eyes, big and bulgy.
To explain the great activity by the military people from ESA, it
was said that on that day they were greeting the new recruits,
being that this occurred one week before. To explain the great
movement of Army trucks in Varginha, it was said that the
vehicles were envoyed to Automaco Enterprise to balance the
wheels and to align the wheels for the driving, being that the
vehicles were seen on Saturday and Sunday, period in which the
Automaco is not working. To explain the great activity of
military people in Regional Hospital, it was said that it
happened because the exhumation of a body of a young men who hung
himself in the jail. According to the exhumation act, this
happened in 30th/01/1996 (January 30th, 1996), and the movements
occurred on the days 20, 21 and 22 in January. Nobody got to
explain why the Army was accompanying the "exhumation". To
explain the great activity of Military pe ople at Humanitas
Hospital, it was said that it was because of the arrival of new
equipment to be used in heart transplants. Well, it looks like a
joke. What does it have to do with new equipment? Heart
Transplant in an extra-terrestrial? Only an idiot would buy that.
Many declarations of Dr. Adilson Usier Leite to the press,
Director of Regional Hospital and one of the Humanitas Hospital
owners, also left a lot to explain. He insists in saying that the
body of such a person that was sent to Regional for the
exhumation came in a Fire Corps car. On the other hand,
CaptainPedro Alvarenga, Commander of the 13rd Fire Corps Company
insists in saying that they were not called to transport a body.
The Fire Department insists in saying that they were not called
to transport any body. It is time for Dr. Adilson and Mr.
Alvarenga to sit down at the same table and come to some
agreement, if not, the people of Varginha will end up suspecting
that what arrived at the Regional Hospital, in a coffin that was
on top of a fire engine, was really a extra-terrestrial being,
and not the body of a common human being.
CONCLUSION
The Brazilian Ufologists have no doubt about what happened in
Varginha. All that was descrbed here is only a part of the story.
Many other facts will be discovered. It's only a matter of time.
