In the past week I've received 
information from a number of 
unrelated sources concerning a 
possible increase in visitor 
activity and/or the end of the 
cover-up.

Here's a brief roundup:

1. I've been hearing rumors 
for about a year that some 
16mm film of the original 
Roswell cleanup has been 
released by the photographer 
who took it. First, Turner had 
it. Then Spielberg was going 
to include it in the 
mysterious Roswell film he is 
or isnŠt making.

Now the rumors have settled 
into fact. The film is 91 
minutes long and will first be 
shown publicly at the British 
UFO Organization (BUFORA) 
convention in August. It will 
then be aired on a BBC 
documentary.

THE TIMES OF LONDON 
 FILM that is claimed to show 
the bodies of alien beings who 
died when a "UFO" crashed in 
the New Mexico desert in 1947 
is to be offered to the 
Ministry of Defence for 
analysis.
   The 91-minute film, which 
purports to show a number of 
dead aliens with neither hair 
nor facial features and the 
wreckage of their craft, was 
allegedly shot by US 
government officials and kept
under wraps for 47 years until 
an unauthorised copy emerged
recently.
   Philip Mantle, director of 
investigations of the British 
UFO Research Association, said 
yesterday: "I am sceptical by 
nature but potentially this is 
mind-boggling."
   The claim is the latest 
twist in the story of the 
world's most celebrated UFO 
mystery which has sparked 
decades of speculation and
conspiracy theories. According 
to a report in The Times, the 
US Army announced on July 8, 
1947, that an object 
resembling a "flying
disk" had been found near 
Roswell and sent to the 
military research
centre at Wright Field, Ohio. 
But last September the Roswell
incident was officially 
identified in a US Air Force 
report as part of a secret 
American atomic spying 
programme.
   Flying-saucer enthusiasts, 
reluctant to abandon their 
theories, denounced the Air 
Force report as a cover-up and 
produced the film.
   The cameraman who leaked 
the black and white footage 
passed it to the British TV 
documentary film-maker Ray 
Santilli. It will form the 
basis of a BBC TV documentary
due to be screened in August 
and also shown to an 
international audience of 
UFO spotters during a two-day 
conference at Sheffield Hallam 
University on August 19-20.

Naturally, I'm hopeful that 
the footage is real and that 
it will encourage further 
disclosures. It would be good 
if some of the people who were 
at Wright Field and received 
the debris and bodies came 
forward, and if General Arthur 
Exon and Sheridan Ware Cavett 
would both disclose their full 
knowledge of the affair.

2.The new Disney "Alien" 
Exhibit is being promoted by a 
syndicated documentary that 
claims without equivocation 
that aliens are real and that 
most people will "know an 
alien" within five years. I 
haven't seen the film, which 
seems to pop up almost at 
random. I have been told, 
however, that it promotes the 
_fear_ scenario so dear to 
the hearts of those who want 
to end up in control of the 
contact process. My own 
thought is, the less fear the 
better, the more individual 
control over contact the 
better.

3. The March, 1995 issue of 
the Mutual UFO Network's MUFON 
Journal has a very well-done 
article by Joseph W. Ritrovato 
claiming that an anaylsis of 
various flap cycles has 
convinced him that another 
flap is going to take place 
this spring and summer. I was 
fascinated that he mentions 
Mars proximity as a flap 
indicator. The reason is that, 
about three weeks ago, I had a 
substantial segment of memory 
blocks that have been in place 
since childhood collapse, and 
the center of everything I 
recalled was Mars. This is why 
I did the Mars Face 
conference, and now makes it 
clearer to me why I have been 
obsessed with Mars since 
childhood, and with the face 
since I learned of it. I'm 
going to make my next book 
about the summer of my ninth 
year, when this material about 
Mars entered my life.

In addition to these three 
things, I am receiving a lot 
of e-mail and calls from 
people who are having stepped-
up contact. This started about 
three weeks ago. My e-mail has 
risen to about thirty letters 
a day, and fully a third of 
these are about contacts the 
previous night or the past few 
days.

So...maybe something's gonna 
give AT LAST!
