The Greifswald UFOs

On 10 October 1993 at 20:15 the documentary UFOs - und es gibt sie doch by
Heinz Rohde was aired on ARD, a German PBS TV station. It brought an
extensive report on the mysterious event which occured on 24 August 1990 in
the vicinity of Greifswald, in north-eastern Germany. In the early evening
a formation of luminous objects (which to me resembled the UFOs that were
filmed in 1952 near Tremonton, Utah) was seen by numerous independent
witnesses.

Four amateur videos were taken from different vantage points:
* Greifswald: Jnrgen Luchterhand
* Greifswald, Mendeleyev-Str. 12: Ludmilla Ivanova M.D.
* Greifswald, not far away from the address above: Valery Vinogradov
* Harbour of Lauterbach (on Rngen Island): Irmgard and Ingo Kaiser

Seven photos of the objects were shot, among them:
* Usedom Island, 20 kms away: Rainer-Michael Ladwig from Berlin

There is no question that all the videos show the same objects, therefore a
fake is highly unlikely. A computer analysis of the videos and photos
yielded the location and height of the objects. They were maneuvering at an
altitude of about 6000 metres (below the clouds), and could be seen from up
to 125 kms away.
