It has been my good fortune to live in the beautiful city of San Francisco for over twenty years. Being in such a metropolitan area I never expected to see any UFOs here, but as luck would have it, I did just that on March 5, 1997 (click the date for my personal report). An e-mail to me from anyone who has information regarding other witnesses to UFOs in the San Francisco bay area on that date or November 10, 1996
would be appreciated. On this last date, as I understand it, many people witnessed a UFO in San Francisco as they ate pizza outside an Italian restaurant at Mission and Italy Streets (near Geneva) till it closed at 1am (click on the date for the details from the original source). Please e-mail me if you have any information regarding sightings on either one of these dates (or any dates for that matter) in the bay area.
One last note, in case you didn't catch it... On June 18th (of last year) the national television media decided to report the strange UFO visitations in and around Phoenix, Arizona that occurred on March 13th. The media frenzy surrounding Heavens Gate may have delayed the reporting of events that could lend credibility to the study of UFOs and the impending Roswell anniversary may have prompted the media to look for recent UFO events as a lead-in story, but all three networks choosing the same night to broadcast coverage of a three month old sighting does seem a bit odd. Art Bell, radio's king of spooky late night talk, was not surprisingly perplexed by this eventuality. Since his birthday was either on or very near this date, he might have thought that the media was waiting till then to give him a surprise birthday present.
