Welcome! Here's a chance to paint your own background. Using additive colors of light we take all colors to be made up of three primary lights (red, green, and blue) taken in varying amounts or intensities each. In a browser, each primary light/color may vary from 0 (least=none) to 255 (most, maximum). In other words, you assign each color points out of a possible 255. The larger the number you assign to a primary, the more part that particular primary plays in your final color. In addition, the more the total (intensity) of all taken together, the brighter the color hue you produce. (Conversely, if the numbers assigned don't add up to much, it will produce a very dark page.)

Some examples:

The same goes with any color; the greater the combined number, the brighter the whole page. You get the idea (I hope). Have fun playing around.

If you don't get the idea, drop me an email (see main page), and I'll explain further.
