Carburetor Cleaning and Repairs
It takes awhile to develop a knack for taking apart and properly cleaning a set of carbs like these. These were seperated from the connecting rails and all the o'rings were replaced. I try to limit the amount of parts needed and using rebuild kits if I can to keep the costs down. These carbs did require new needles and seats from the dealer as they were not available in the aftermarket. In most cases all the hard parts ie: brass jets and needles can be saved and only require thorough cleaning and polishing. I stock most o'rings and rubber plugs and small cotter pins etc. and often just need new float bowl gaskets and maybe a set of float needles to complete the job. If you prefer to try your hand at doing your own carbs, I can sell you the parts and tools required to enjoy the challenge of
