First, thanks to the Eagles for finally making it to the Super Bowl after I've waited 25 years for it, I was pleased to see a great game between the best teams in each conference. It was an event to remember. I'm disappointed that the Birds didn't hold it together and win. McNabb's turnovers were simply unacceptable but I'm confident that they will be contenders again in 2005 and am very thankful for an awesome, record breaking 2004 season and a trip to the championship.
In other news, I found the *absolute coolest* link on Memepool today. The Baby Name Wizard's NameVoyager enables visitors to type in a name and see it's popularity during the last century. Looks like Kevin never broke the top 10 peaking at #14 in the 1960s and falling from there. Really fun tool to play with. Watch it build as you enter a name... Addictive, Ethel and Clyde both peaked early in the century and are gone now. Type in "Eth" and you will see Ethel's original popularity and decline into nowhere while also witnessing the birth (pun intended) of Ethan which is apparently a very popular name today.

SUPER BOWL BOUND
Thank you Donovan & crew for making this the best season ever. I've waited 25 years for this. Go E-A-G-L-E-S, EAGLES!

EAGLES WIN!
Here we go again. If the birds can make it to the Superbowl and win this year, my life is complete. The Redsox and the Birds winning championships in the same year is simply to good to be true. I've been a Philly fan since I was 9 years old and have been waiting a *long* time for Philly to return to the big game. Todays game was fantastic. They really outplayed Minnesota on both sides of the ball. I can't wait for the Falcons. Should be a good matchup but I cannot conceive of the Eagles losing to Vick & Co.

Welcome to Omaha!
First post of 2005 is coming live from the Heartland. I started a new job on Monday at ConAgra Foods as Director, Web Marketing. I'm really excited about the opportunity, the team, and getting started making a positive impact on the organization.
I'm also excited about our new home! Included a picture below. The place is just beautiful, and to feed the golf addiction.... it is located on the 14th fairway of Shadow Ridge Country Club! We close on January 25 and, right now, I'm interviewing painters to get the place "Doohanized". Jen picked all new colors for the place and it will look super.

RED SOX WIN, RED SOX WIN, RED SOX WIN
Unbelievable. Not only do the Red Sox win the World Series but they win by coming back from a 3-0 deficit to beat the Yankees in New York and then SWEEP the Cardinals in four games. I am literally as happy as I can be tonight....

RED SOX WIN!!!!!!!!! 2004 American League Champions
WooHoo!!!!! Unbelievable. History was made today. Never in the history of baseball has a team come back from a 3-0 deficit to win a best of seven series. The World Series starts Saturday and I cannot wait. Beating the Yankees in NY makes the win even sweeter.

Not a bad football handicapper if I say so myself... I predicted Eagles 30-Panthers 17 last week and actual score was: Eagles 30-Panthers 8. This weeks forecast for Eagles vs. Browns is Eagles 34 - Browns 10. Eagles go 6-0 and T.O. has a huge game against Garcia's current team. Garcia will be sacked at least 3 times and rattled for most of the game.
Baseball is another story. On Friday, October 15, I predicted Red Sox 6- Yankees 3. Game was postponed but the Saturday score was Yankees 19-Red Sox 8. Complete humiliation and I was ready to jump off the roof as a die-hard Boston fan.
However, the sun came out on Sunday with a Red Sox win! It was followed by another Red Sox win on Monday which brings me to tonight's thrilling win and.....CURT SCHILLING (picture below)!!!!!! This guy is a real life superhero. After a terrible showing in the first game of the series, our ace returned tonight, playing through an injury and serious pain to pitch an awesome game through seven innings and lead Boston to victory!
Tomorrow night is the final game to decide if the Red Sox make it to the World Series. I'm praying that the Bambino's curse will finally be reversed. We're one game away from making history in dramatic fashion.
