Jack wandered into the Port Charles Grill, hoping that he would finally find the associate of Montgomery's who his contact had seen in Port Charles. He just wanted to grill the person and get back to Oakdale-not that he was looking forward to Round #500 with Julia (she was pretty ticked off that he had left town without any notice!), but he'd rather be at home where he could just run to the police station if things got bad between him and Julia than spend the night in some lonely hotel room where he'd ultimately end up thinking about the state of things with Carly. "Damn!" he muttered to himself, "when will this ever end?" He sidled up to the bar, intent on ordering a beer while he waited for news from his contact, when a woman's scarf caught his attention…Jack thought hard for a moment, and he realized that he'd seen Carly wear something exactly like it just a few weeks ago. "Excuse me," he said to the bartender as he flashed his badge, "Detective Jack Snyder, Oakdale, Illinois P.D. Have you been working here all night?"

"Yes, I have. What can I do for you, Detective?"

"The woman who left this scarf, do you remember what she looked like?"

"Sure…petite, blonde hair, beautiful face."

"Blue eyes that you swear you can see right into your soul in?" Jack asked.

"Yeah, that's her," answered the bartender.

"Do you have any idea where she went when she left here?"

"Well, I was on the other side of the bar when she took off, but the last I saw of her she was with Mrs. Sonny Corinthos. I assume they went somewhere together."

"You wouldn't by chance happen to know where this Mr. and Mrs. Corinthos live?" inquired Jack.

"Yeah, Port Charles Towers, Penthouse 4. Here's the address," the bartender said as he wrote down the information for Jack.

"Thanks a lot. I'll make sure she gets this back," Jack told the bartender, picking up Carly's scarf and putting it in his pocket.

"No problem. Always happy to help out law enforcement." The bartender turned his back to Jack and walked away. Jack looked up at the ceiling, shook his head, and departed, out to search for the Corinthos penthouse and yet another run-in with Carly…
