"Damn!" Carly Tenney exclaimed as she furiously pressed the button to end her cell phone call. "This is just great, just perfect, just what I needed to end a really lousy trip! Why is it when all I want to do is get home to my little boy, I get caught up in an ice storm, and end up not in Chicago, or at least somewhere in the relative vicinity of Oakdale, but instead in this little excuse for a city in New York, what is it? Port Charles? And with no available flights, anywhere...of all the rotten luck..."

Carly: "I want you to stop messin' with my head. Just because every time you kiss me, I..."
Jack: "What, hmm? You lose your mind? You forget about everything, except how good it feels? The feeling's mutual, Carly. Every time I'm within ten feet of you I've got to do everything in my power not to put my hands all over you."
Carly: "Well, then, cut it out! You take those feelings and you...you put them someplace else! That's what I did, because that's what you wanted me to do."

"Come on, Carly, come away with me." Wow! If the sizzling looks that passed between Jack & Carly on that glorious December day in 1997 weren't enough to convince me that J&C were the next greatest thing to hit the planet, that line most certainly was!
Everything about that day was perfect, from the intimacy in their innuendo to the intensity of the eye contact Michael and Maura maintained throughout the encounter.
