Thursday: Bill & Linda drove to Cromberg via Truckee and were joined later by their daughter Heather and grandchildren, Emily and Adam. The following caravanned to Cromberg via Oroville: Les & son Matthew, Jim C. & Marsha, Vicki & Tom, and Lew. George and Sue had two consecutive flats on their trailer in the Feather River canyon, and had to have the trailer carried to Quincy, where they stayed overnight until the tire shop opened.

Friday: A day trip was organized for those in camp, through Quincy, Taylorsville, and Lake Davis. A picnic lunch was enjoyed overlooking Lake Davis. George and Sue arrived in camp, and went for a bike ride. Some of the Lake Davis trippers took a hike to Grass Lake from Plumas Eureka State Park. Other arrivals were Mike & Doris, Joe, Chris, Catherine & Mark, and Ed & Sunny. Van, who lives there in Cromberg, dropped by for visits on Friday and Saturday nights.

Saturday: We were met at camp in the morning by Marc, who drove up for the day. A trip to Frazier Falls was enjoyed by a number of the group, followed by various hikes and a trip to Mills Peak Lookout by a few. Mark and Catherine went for a bike ride. Around 3 PM, we started assembling at the Portola RR Museum, where Lew gave us train and locomotive rides. We were met there by Jim T. who drove up from Tahoe for the afternoon. We had a few camp conversations about a Fall camping trip, where a couple of spots near Fort Bragg, and Castle Craigs were mentioned.

Sunday: Everyone went home except for Bill & Linda, Les & Matthew, and Mike & Doris. Jim C. & Marsha hung around talking and playing Mexican Train until early afternoon, when they left for Boomtown. A few of us looked over other RV parks. We enjoyed one last Happy Hour that evening.

Monday: The rest of us went home, except for Bill & Linda, who dropped off at Collins Lake for a couple more days camping.

Facilities used: One on-site multi-room rental trailer used by five people, one rental cottage at the resort next door, and six full-hookup sites used for six trailers and one pickup shell.
