Comments: These roads are the playground for Berkeley and Oakland cyclists. You might even come upon Maynerd Hershon. Beautiful vistas of the Bay with San Francisco in the background will take your mind off the climbing on Tunnel, Skyline, and Grizzly Peak, while the rolling hills of Contra Costa County will accompany you during the ascent of Wildcat Canyon.
Most of the area around Tunnel Road burned during the Oakland Firestorm, but new construction and renewed plant growth is beginning to erase the scars.
