Lexington County Park and Reservoir

Whether you run or bike, this park is very challenging because of the hills.  It is a good idea to warm up for 10-25 minutes on the flats before getting on the trail.  From the boat launch area, you can access the Jones Trail and Saint Joseph's Hill Open Space Preserve.  One of the trails that isn't straight up from the start is the Los Gatos Creek Trail, which leads to downtown Los Gatos.  Some runners choose to run on the roads, follow the bike route directions for the best views.

Catfish Open Water Swim 1.2M/2.4M: The only opportunity to swim in this reservoir!

Los Gatos 46 mile ride over two long gradual hills, and through the redwoods out to Soquel.  Ride on the backroads of the Santa Cruz mountains, Old Santa Cruz Hwy., and Summit Rd.  Some of the roads have very little shoulder.  Wet roads can be very slick, be careful on the winding downhills.
