I'm looking for family history on these families on the Gilbert side:

CORMACK, HOSKINS, GILBERT, SELLERS, RAPP, FAYE

My Grandmother-Lila Dorothy "Dot" Cormack (Her last name was sometimes MacCormack) married to William Joseph Gilbert (1st) and Richard Warren Hoskins (2nd). The story is she was conceived in Scotland and born in Colorado. This has since turned out to be false since the family emmigrated to the USA about 15 years before whe was born! You can see the photographs of the Cormack family on the Cormack photos page. There is also a book, Vintage Wick, filled with photos from the Johnston collection. There are more photos from Scotland and New Brunswick, Canada.

My paternal Grandfathers-Richard Warren Wallace Hoskins and Joseph Gilbert. Joseph's father Samuel Gilbert, supposedly French, but turns out to not be at all.

My maternal Grandparents-Carl Sellers and Josphine Rapp from St. Louis, Missouri. By blind luck and some Internet searching, I found a Website with a trace on the Sellers line back to pre-Revolutionary North Carolina. Read about it on the Sellers family Website.
