Tommy Becker received his MFA in Film/Video/Performance from CCAC in 2001.
Becker's work celebrates our endless struggle to adapt. Intrigued by states
of reconciliation and assimilation, Becker explores the psychological avenues
of cultural domestication by exposing a forlorn state of being. He's
currently inviting people to pilgrimage to galleries and lay their puppeted
hands on a body. Most recently he has shown at Refusalon's emerging artist
show, SF Independent Film Festival's 2001 Digital Underground and Gen Arts
Newfangle 2001.
