Timothy Kelly, Tuesday, November 6th, at 9:00PM Timothy Kelly received his MFA from CCAC in 1999 by going the entire season undefeated, an unprecedented record of 42-0, winning the Championship with class and style. Since this triumphant time, he has continued his hard work ethic approach to making and winning art. However, his failures have been far more frequent than his successes. Sadly, he has yet to reach the level of his undefeated season, and has most recently been seen parking cars for the Tucson Contemporary Art Museum (Hazmat Gallery, April 2000). Yet somehow, he manages to wake up each morning, work hard, and continue his search for meaning and value in a world filled with champions, villains and tragedies. He's hoping that this time he breaks out of his mediocrity with the kind of wondrous glory that would make us all proud. |
