Ulrika Andersson, Tuesday, November 13th, at 9:00PM Ulrika Andersson taught herself to program a video game based on a movie she dreamed up. A minimalist and approachable interface, she created the settings for the science fiction story of a pilot who flees from a dissolved city across the bay to refuge. The game is refreshing compared to many of the violent video games that control the market. You travel through scenes, text is provided to explain your course, and all without holding a gun. A MFA Graduate of CCAC she has shown an earlier version of the game at Lizabeth Oliveria Gallery. |
