What Is Detour 888?

Detour 888 launches with the five-week series "Prime Time" curated by Tony Labat. Labat's work has taken many different forms, performance, installation, video, photography, and sculpture. Labat has presented his work internationally, has received numerous grants and awards and his work is included in many private and public collections. He is a professor at the San Francisco Art Institute, where he has taught in the New Genres department since 1985.

The inaugural exhibit will feature work by Ronald Meyers, Antonio Eligio (Tonel), Liz Cohen, Guy Overfelt, Kathryn Williamson and Brian Storts. The schedule is as follows:
