PIZZA DOUGH
DIRECTIONS:
in large bowl, sprinkle yeast and sugar over warm water; stir until dissolved. Stir in oil, salt and enough flour to make a soft dough.
Turn out dough onto a lightly floured surface. Knead dough until smooth and elastic. (about 5 minutes)
Place in large greased bowl, turning over dough so that the top is greased. Cover with towel and let rise until almost doubled. (about 30 minutes)
Punch down dough; turn onto lightly floured surface. Knead until no linger sticky, (about 30 seconds). Cover and let rest 5 minutes.
Use for pizzas and calzones.
