RoboPS is a multiaxes universal positioning system developed to cover a broad range of applications in the SEMICONDUCTOR, MEDICAL, ELECTRONIC, OPTICAL, PHARMAUCEUTICAL, VIDEO, PACKAGING and other industries. It consists of extremely low profile X-Y stage with options of rotation axis, external zoom control device and vertical positioning axis for use with microscope with video camera.
All axes are driven with DC servo motors and integrated PC-based computer -motion control system. A large 300mm x 300mm or small 200mm x 200mm active stage area allows observing of many objects with single loading, which significantly increases productivity. Intuitive software allows programming and editing of up to 1,024 positions in one application. Selectable speed, acceleration and time to hold at a particular position optimize the inspection time. The program can be saved and later loaded again for use with the same objects. Fast moving to selected positions and step mode control adds flexibility to the system when operator's intervention is necessary. Joystick, mouse, trackball or manual control satisfies any operator choice. The system can be easily integrated with pick-and-place robot and machine vision software for fully automated system applications.
