HOW TO USE A PIE BIRD:
Line pie plate with pastry, then
place pie bird in the center before
adding filling around the bird.
Cover the pie and the bird with the top
crust. Pinch crust around the bird's
shoulder, allowing the head to stick
through the pastry. The bird will
release steam through his mouth "vent"
during baking and help to prevent fruit
