Reiki & Crystal Healing

Reiki is the Japanese word for the Universal life energy that permeates and sustains our entire world. There is an infinite source of this energy. It creates and supports us all, the animals, the planets, the stars, even in the air that we breathe and the food that we eat. This energy has been used in many cultures and is also known as Chi, Prana or Mana. Forms of this healing system are very ancient. For example, in ancient Egypt, it was known as Seichim and in Hawaii, it is known as Huna. Also, it has been used through out Tibet and India. Mikao Usui re-introduced this ancient healing system in Japan during the mid twentieth century.

In combination with Reiki, I utilize crystals and gemstones. Crystals are natural wonders of the Earth and the silica and water that they are composed of are also major components of our physical bodies. For example, Quartz is fossilized water and our bodies are 98% water. Crystals' piezoelectric effects, energy fields, match our human energy and electrical frequencies. Thus, they can be used as tools for energy balancing and healing.

My experiences with Reiki and crystals have changed my life in so many aspects from emotional to spiritual healing. During a time in which I was very depressed and lost hope, I wanted the ability to change my life and heal from past abuses. An epiphany came to mind that if I meditated and focused on the energy around me, I could use it to help myself heal. I did my research and found Reiki. With time and discipline, my life changed!

Reiki is not a religion or occult. As a matter of fact, it is a simple way of life that is gentle, hopeful and allows oneself to be free and lovable to himself/herself and others. There is one rule, a rule of love, to never harm anyone with hatred. In addition, there a set of guidelines that are essential to the Reiki System.

Just for today, I will be confident.
Just for today, I will be in control of my emotions.
Just for today, I will live honestly.
Just for today, I will respect the oneness of all life.
Just for today, I will be kind to everyone I meet.
Just for today, I will give thanks for my many blessings.

A Reiki and Crystal healing session is a simple laying on of hands and stones. Each crystal represents a metaphysical attribute that can be used to help one's energy vibrate to a healthier frequency. For example, pink quartz is placed at the heart chakra to realign the frequency to an energy of self-love, comfort, and support. There are seven major chakras, energy centers, thus, seven crystals will be used. In addition, hands are gently placed on the body to transmit and stabilize energy. Open communication, meditation, and free-thought are encouraged during this process.

I do not promise miracles nor do I expect them. It can be a very positive and relaxing experience nonetheless. Each session has its own unique experience. Most sessions usually last for 60 minutes or in combination with other techniques.
