This is Lola my
1961 mk1 Morris Mini Cooper
She has gone through a frame off restoration, all done by me or the previous owner. here's some of the things we did.
The engine is a 1380cc 10.8-1 compression, X-drilled and nitried S crank, S Rods, S Head, mg metro cam, S Rockers, Isky lifters, lightened flywheel, steel duplex timing, twin HS-4 SU Carbs, and S oil cooler. the Engine was built by a mini performance specialist, and it is fast!!!and has been very dependable. The Exhaust flows through a rc40 twin box center exit system (it has a nice roar, and I love setting off everybody's car alarm when I drive it)
The Brakes are cooper S disc's X-drilled with EBC Greenstuff pads in front, and Minifin Rear drums, with stainless brake hoses all around.
The paint was done by Sports Car Classics (they usually are painting Cobra's) but the previous owner was a friend of the owner, It was stripped to bare metal, and acid dipped, the paint is a mirror finish polished by hand.
The Interior is all custom panels, made with a lot of time and practice , It has Corbeau GT7 seats and a Schroth harness.
She Got the name Lola from the kinks song, she is pretty and petite on the outside, but she has something hidden under her dress. My favorite places to drive are on the canyon roads we have around L.A. and the Beach.
