National Model United Nations. The website of this annual college-level MUN provides sample delegate guides, resolutions, and position papers which can serve as good reference materials during your preparation.

American Model United Nations. The website of this annual college-level MUN provides sample delegate guides, resolutions, and position papers which can serve as good reference materials during your preparation.

Global Policy Forum. An organization that monitors UN activity and has excellent resources for MUNers.

For Issue- or Country- Specific Research:

United Nations Cyberschoolbus. This is the global teaching and learning project of the United Nations.  Cyberschoolbus contains country- and issue-specific information which can help in the research phase of MUN.  It also contains fun projects and quizzes to help you learn more about what's going on in the world and at the United Nations.

CIA World Factbook. Provides detailed country-profiles prepared by the CIA.

The International Humanitarian Law Research Initiative. A portal comprising of news articles, reports, judicial decisions, working papers and events information on humanitarian law, updated on a daily basis. It is an initiative of the Swiss government in collaboration with Harvard University 's Program on Conflict Resolution. There are also more specific portals, dealing with current events in Iraq and the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
