Seven Ways to Get an F on a Paper

1. Make sure not to confer with your instructor .This will only cause you to obtain useful insight into how to approach the problem of writing the paper.

2. Never go to the library .That place is just filled with books and research tools.

3. Ignore even thinking about ideas to write on until the night before the due date.

4. Pick the first idea that comes into your head, just to get writing the paper over with. Don't bother writing down all your ideas, even though writing all your ideas down is a good way to decide on which topic to write about, and just the process of writing down your thoughts loosens up the creativity muscles.

5. Never write your introduction in a clear logical outline that's easy to follow (unless you want to lull the teacher into a false sense of clarity before drowning them in obfuscation).

6. Don't try reading what other writers down the centuries written about your subject. It would only give you something to think about.

7. Don't even consider writing on a subject you care passionately about. That would only make your paper interesting for others to read.

this ignoble page is the not-so-proud creation of m.carson, who, knowing this day would come, took the time to personally verify that all seven steps work.
