The Presidential Hillbillies

Come listen to the story of a guv named Jeb

A poor politician - helped his brother get ahead.

Every day George sez: I'm just another dude,

But up from the ground came a bubblin crude.

Oil that is, Black gold, Texas Tea.

Well of course you know old Jeb's a millionaire

His kinfolk said: Jeb get the vote out here.

They said Florida's the place you oughta be,

So they left Kennebunkport and moved to Tallahassee.

Butterfly ballots that is, missing boxes, police cars.

Young George moved in the W House and drank

He signed all new laws in the lobbies of the bank,

Lotsa folks objected, but the pres'dent found no fault,

'Cause Bush's campaign billions was a-layin' in the vault

Cash, that is! Capital gains, privatized SS money!

Well now it's time to say goodbye to Jeb and all his kin

Al would like to thank you folks fer droppin' yer votes in.

You're all invited back to vote for this plutocracy,

T'have a heapin' helpin' of their hypocrisy.

Integrity, that is! Fry an inmate, Take your shoes off!

Y'all come back, here!
