Joani's grandfather is dying to get in here. So much so that he
already has his name on the headstone with his birthdate, but no
death date. You will be finding his headstone, his parent's
headstones, and then the cache. The cache is bigger than a micro,
smaller than an ammo box. Small trade items fit best. Be respectful
and descrete while you are here. Security patrols the area often.
There is no need to step off the grass to find the cache. The
posted hours for this area are November-February from 8 a.m. to 5
p.m. Jamie reported March hours as 8a.m. to 6p.m. It may be open
later during summer months.
To find Joani's grandfather's future resting place:
In the center of the intersection nearest the parking coordinates
there is a number AA. BBB = (AAx10)+12. Standing on the number,
project a waypoint bearing BBB true north with a distance of 0.11
miles. There you will find Robert W., Born Feb. A, BCDE
To find Robert W.'s parents:
Go to N37 29.[A+B+D][B-D][C], W120 52.[C-D-E][B+D][B-D]
There you will find Charles L. born ABCD died EFGH and Mary Ola
born IJKL died MNOP

I goofed a little at stage one, but it didn't matter because kablooey didn't. But then we both had a hard time seeing what we were trying to find - and that made this whole process tough on us. I went back to stage 1 to try out a few things, and kablooey had made progress by the time I made it back over there. Smooth sailing from then on out. Fun and interesting cache!2008-05-03T00:00:00Foundkablooey12:28. We nearly got stumped trying to find Robert W. The coords were good, but we just weren't looking correctly. Once we did figure out what to look for, I still managed to miss it, and we wandered quite a ways away before I finally made it back and found it. We had been finding about four caches an hour until this cache took the better part of an hour. But, we still enjoyed finding a Marky & Joani cache as we reached the beginning of our target caching zone for the day.

Nice day to troop through the area lots of people visiting family and friends today. We divided the labor between us with me shooting the bearings and the younger half doing the math. I have not practiced on a compass course in a longtime this was fun. TFTC! 2007-12-01T00:00:00FoundKol-TaiBeen working on this one for awhile. Finally honed in on it today. Thanks for the chase, it was a lot of fun! Would you believe I did it without a GPSr? I really have to get one! Took a plastic JFK coin. Left 3 green army men. Didn't see Walkin' Ed's Geocoin though. I had to work in Turlock today, so I decided to get a cache or two. Found Joani's grandfather easily, but had to search a bit for her great-grandparents because of a math error on my part. It's right where the clue says it is. When entering here, I realized I had DNF'd a cache near the entrance several years ago with DavidT21.2007-07-29T00:00:00FoundCuz CrewWe finally found this one!!!!!
we have been to this cache twice and found it after a total of 5 hours searching. We took the geocoin and the tattoo and left a bracelet and a pin.2007-07-17T00:00:00FoundrfwittGreat cache! Had a little trouble since my GPS doesn't have a project waypoint feature. Had to mark the intersection as a waypoint and then wander in the approximate direction until I was the correct distance and reciprical heading to the intersection to find Robert's eventual resting place. To top things off, they were mowing over his parents just when I wanted to be there. I had a lot of fun with this, thanks. TN, left Geocoin, SL2007-01-06T00:00:00NotebigdogdaddyStarted this one today. Will return tomorrow (or soon) to "get 'er done." If it fits, I'll place a TB.2006-12-29T00:00:00Founddrummerforever1982This was quite a run around and a nice cache. I wonder what the signifance of the cache really is?????? We enjoyed athough it took us a while to get the number scheme. TNLNSL TFTC2006-12-26T00:00:00NoteSCCS I went back today to fix cache. Put everything into good cache box and took the other home with me. Had to do a little work on the clip, as the one was broken.
Replaced it back in the exact location as the day before. Thanks for the cache box.2006-12-25T00:00:00FoundSCCS Had to get out of the house and stretch after dinner and decided to get this one. What a great multi had a lot of fun doing this one. Found both caches and signed both logs. After reading the logs from below I will stop in tomorrow after work and combine everything into one container and take the other container for myself. Thanks again for the fun multi. T--Little Dog L--Quarter2006-11-25T00:00:00NoteMarkyIf anyone wants to combine the contents of both caches (just use which ever log book is in the best shape), they are welcome to keep the other container and re-use it for another cache. It may be some time before we make our way over there.2006-11-25T00:00:00NoteCentralCArnRevisited this site to see find the 'replacement' container that held the Green Jeep TB. Found the replacement right where the hint said. Placed the container that I found yesterday right next to the replacement cache.
Took: Green Jeep TB
Signed replacement log with today's date.
Maybe the owner can combine the two and gain a new container.
TFTC!2006-11-24T00:00:00FoundCentralCArnI tried finding this one several weeks ago, but all I had taken was the coordinates so I obviosly DNF.
Enjoyed the hunt through the cemetary. This is the most enjoyable multi that I have done (which isn't really saying a whole lot, but I mean it as a compliment.
Didn't see any sign of the Green Jeep TB. Now that I get home, I discover that maybe I found the missing container and Madjaw found the new one.
Last log in the one I found was from Cooties!
Took: Minnie mouse figure
Left: Erasers
May go back soon to find the other cache and TB.2006-11-20T00:00:00FoundMADJAWFound this just before they closed up. Don't know why the previous finders claim they found the cache as the only signatures on the log are from the bunch of SoBay cachers on 5/27. Pic attached.2006-09-16T00:00:00NotFoundCamel680after reminding myself of the different between true and magnetic north I attempted to project a waypoint BUT I fgailed miserably. I forgot I had my laptop and GSAK in the car and could have done it from there to make sure I was projecting to the rightr spot. I need to learn how to project on this GPS... Only remember how to do it on my old one! :-)

Such a good feeling. TNLNSL. Thanks for the challenge!2006-07-14T00:00:00NotFoundmrcollectFound the parking location . Then proceeded to "project a waypoint". I'm pretty sure we did it right, but never found Robert W. Looked and looked. Groundskeeper even said, "well, everyone always looks over there" (pointing in a random direction). No help at all...2006-05-27T00:00:00NoteMarkyUpdated the cache size to the more appropriate small cointainer (which wasn't an option when this cache was hidden). Updated the hint, courtesy of workerofwood. Thanks for the help you guys!2006-05-27T00:00:00FoundMotorBug11:35 am - It was heart warming to see all the American flags on display today-- hundreds of them. Lots of people were visiting, cleaning headstones or just quietly standing. There was a military funeral going on that was very well attended. An old soldier or a young one from Iraq, I don't know. Very moving. TFTC.2006-05-27T00:00:00FoundworkerofwoodIt hadn't occured to us that this just might be a REALLY busy day to search for a cache here, but everyone pretty much ignored us as we marched around gathering numbers. After a long search and a short phone call, I pulled a suitable replacement cache from the car. All is back where it should be....
TFTC2006-05-27T00:00:00FoundNazgulM&J sure get around! We were stumped and noticed that there had been no finders since January so WoW called the owner and we verified that the cache was missing. We were happy to replace it with an identical container, rather than the blinker Marky probably would have used!!! (Note that the cache page lists the container size a Regular but it should be Small.)
This was interesteing and a fun challenge. We took our time so as not to be disprespectful of the location. Thanks!2006-01-21T00:00:00FoundCatmitLittle Bigs and I have been here before. We didn't know much about calculating Degrees and True North on a GPS, but this time we quickly learned how. What a fun puzzle to solve. Once again we ran into someone we knew (A LIVE PERSON). It's happening alot now!
Thanks for the cache. We really had a good time at this cache considering our surroundings. We took the Nintendo travel bug and will move him along. Looks like he has been there for awhile.
Catmit:)2006-01-20T00:00:00FoundLittle BigsWe finally did it! Yea! Catmit is right, we had a little trouble figuring out exactly how to use some of the features of the GPS. 2004-08-28T00:00:00NotFound49er posseFirst BIG day of geocaching and this was our third location, couldn't find but are hoping we can get more information and go back and try again. We have found that the ones we can't find really get under our skin and it becomes an obbsession to find it, we will definatly go back to this one. Thanks for the challenge, we will triumph, it just may take awhile. Again, thanks for the new addiction.2004-04-23T00:00:00FoundDavidT21 & FisherwomanWhat a fun cache! We had to dodge the sprinklers to get to the final cache. TNLN Found on the way to Yosemite for the weekend. Thanks2004-04-10T00:00:00FoundBootyBuddiesWe said something witty here before, but got the dreaded "Server too busy" error, so I'll do my best to resurrect it...
We didn't have any problems with part 1 or 2, but the find took longer then it should have because we wrote down 'B' from part 2 wrong. We were about to give up, but got an inpiration from above to recheck the coordinates. Thanks for sharing your "Family Plot". TNLN. Fun find.2004-03-16T00:00:00FoundEllenbarger CrewWOW!!!
