Robert Sherman Mosier

Home Page

This is a memorial to Robert Sherman Mosier who was killed in Qui Nhon, Binh Dinh Province, Vietnam, on February 10, 1965, while serving in the 140th Transportation Detachment of the United States Army. Robert was a supply and parts specialist who helped to provide the necessary parts for the helicopters at Camp Goldberg. The U.S. barracks at Qui Nhon, Kach San Viet Cuong, was bombed by the Viet-Cong, killing 23 U.S. troops and injuring 13. Included are his pictures and descriptions of Vietnam that he sent to his mother just prior to his death. His death has left a void in our family and we all miss him very much. We are proud of his bravery in serving our country in the Vietnam War.
