The Ventura Birth Center offers clients the option of either laboring in our whirlpool tub and/or giving birth in it. Waterbirth provides a less painful labor and delivery for women and a peaceful passage from the womb to the outer world for the babies. Babies live in water (Amniotic Fluid) for the months prior to being born so it is a familiar environment to them.We provide education through books, video and discussion for women who are considering this option so that they can be fully informed of its advantages.If you have any questions please call me at
