What a grand time we had! The week-end was full of fun, laughter, memories, good times, sunshine, warmth and WINE!

Thursday was check-in day and most of us spent time meeting and greeting old friends and new, looking over memorabilia, talking about old times, and catching up on what's been going on since last we met.

Friday we had a lovely wine tour which took us first to Benziger Winery, where on a tram tour through the vineyards, we enjoyed learning about how the grapes are grown - a different kind of wine tour! We then went to Viansa Winery, a Tuscan Villa built on top of a hill overlooking the Sonoma Valley. Viansa offers wine and gourmet food that is simply scrumptious! Those of us who were really not into wine had a good time here as there are samples of just about everything they sell.

That evening we took a bus to Napa to board the Napa Wine Train. On board we rambled down the Napa Valley while enjoying a fantastic dinner and reminiscing with old friends.

On Saturday, some of us visited the old historic town of Sonoma, while others of us hiked and toured the property that once belonged to Jack London.

Saturday night was our "Nostalgia Night" which was loads of fun once we were all seated. There were quite a few more of us showed up that anticipated and it took a while to get us all in the room. We had some yummy Mexican fare and shared feelings about the ole school, previous reunions, friends - old and new, and lots of kudos for lots of people!

Sunday we had a meeting over breakfast  -  (a surprise on the menu!) -  where we elected Paul McLin as our new president, Sandra Steele Nicol as our new vice president and Peggy Taylor Anderson as our new secretary-treasurer and host for our 2002 reunion in New Orleans!  I hope you enjoy the pictures and I would welcome any pictures that you have and would like to see on the site!
