SPAIN is a black type winner but appears to be somewhat overmatched in this race. A 3 year old filly THUNDER GULCH, she's trained by D.Wayne Lukas for the Thoroughbred Corporation and will be a longshot come post time.
TRANQUILITY LAKE has first preference in the Filly & Mare Turf and is 1-for-4 lifetime on the main track. My feeling is that she stands a better chance on the turf and I doubt we'll she her in this particular spot.
