Tony Poulos

Tony is 35, a native to the bay area and has been playing for about 25 years Tony began playing by taking a few lessons at the local community center, where he learned a few basic cords. After that he taught himself by copying what other guitarist were doing from their recordings. Some of his early influences were Ronny Montrose, Eddie Van Halen, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Dave Gilmore(Pink Floyd). Tony played in Rock Bands through High School and by the time he was twenty, was playing in club in San Francisco. In 1994 Tony and his wife (who is a fine singer) performed at a "Jam Night" at a country bar, Tony was offered a spot in the band. Now Tony plays about one hundred shows a year with his country band. Tony says "I've always liked the blues and appreciate them more as I grow older".
