Smultron (Wild Strawberry) Luncheon

My first day in Minneapolis, Minnesota was to happily meet some of my fellow researchers from the Smultron web group for lunch at Q Cumbers Restaurant. This was my third luncheon with the Smultron’s, the first lunch was in San Jose, California and the second was in Los Altos, California. Elsie Martin seated third on the left was one of the reasons why the dinner in Los Altos was setup. Elsie had mentioned she was going to be in town for business and one thing I have learned about Smultron’s, they love to get together. This luncheon in Minneapolis was even more special because my cousin David Thoreson and his wife Colleen, who I never met before, were able to make it. I remember how happy I was when I first met David and Colleen Thoreson. It did not take me long to feel comfortable with them. This was my brother Ted’s first Smultron luncheon and we talked that evening what a good time we had. Seated second on the right is Ted.
