"Carrot Patch Estates" as it is known. Is located in the Upper Penninsula (U.P.)of the State of Michigan, in what is known as the Gogamain Swamp. However, there are rumors that a secession is under way in the dark regions of the state that will make the U.P. (or U.P.ers) the REAL State and the lower penninsula (Flat Landers) will have to rename itself. It is near the town of Pickford, MI. It is nestled in the very hard to negotiate swamp. But has to its credit some 200 acres of prime hunting opportunities.
It is manned by some of the most accurate shooters known to the U.P. today. They would be; David (the deer slayer) Brown, Bobby (the cook) Turner, Lyle (the eagle eye) Scrimger, Lee (californian) Kramer and Shawn (the yungun) Brown, and our newest addidion David (the ammo waster) Yarborough (Lee's oldest Boy). All true blue legends in their own minds.
One of the most comfortable of camps in the area and one sought out by others for great companionship and always a cold one to greet you with. Started way back in the 50's by the late and great Wally Brown (Daves Dad). This camp is always a mecca of excitement and intrigue as the hunting season grows near. Always plenty of work to do prior to camp which runs from 15 Nov till 31 Nov each year for gun season.
Always say YA to Da U Pers!
