We first met Mas at the Long Beach Blues Festival and asked him to sit with us. He was only 18 at the time. Mas and his wife Tomoko and daughter Ema live in Japan and travel each year to the Long Beach Blues Festival and the Maxson Road House. They also attend Jazz Fest in New Orleans.
