Travis' musical talent shined at an early age
Travis started out playing Clarinet in a fifth grade music program in Morgan
Hill, California. We moved to Santa Cruz in the middle of fifth grade. At Shoreline
Middle school they had quite a phenominal music program which opened up a whole new
world for him as well as unlocking his hidden miracle. In sixth grade he
decided he wanted to learn to play the guitar. He was exceptionally good at it, he
was a natural, and he learned at lightning speed.
In 7th grade he decided he wanted to learn the Piano, as well as the Bass. Again
he picked these up even more rapidly. Listening to him play is to give oneself a
joyous gift. He was meant to do this. He played in Band, and Jazz Band at Shoreline.
Also special band which was the elite musicians at the school.

Travis is currently a Sophomore at Soquel High School. For the first semester
he is enrolled in Piano. He is also taking Latin Ensemble, playing piano at
Cabrillo College learning a completely different style of music.
Travis' most favorite music is Joplin's Rags, then it would have to be Classical. If
he could exist just playing music all day that would be his wish, to him all the rest
could easily just be put on hold. His goal is to go to a four year University, possibly
major in music performance, and earn a Science Degree in Ocean Science as well.
