Childhood Pets

Scuby
Scuby use to walk the fence just like a cat. He came from a backyard where the previous owner did not treat him well. I think the fence climbing use to give him a sense of security, kind of made him King of the neighborhood. It took him awhile to earn our trust, but when he did, it was never ending. The other dogs would get out, but Scuby would always bring them back home. He was my little shadow and that saying "Man's Best Friend" well in this case it was Lisa Ann's best Friend. He walked this earth for 16 years.

Prince Zivago of Clear Creek

What a beautiful dog he was. He was a Siberian Husky. He howled at the sirens, he loved the ocean, he loved camping trips. He hugged me each night before bed. He was like having a perpetual two year old child. Inquisitive, silly, young at heart.

Fritz the cat, Fritz plays with Lisa Ann & Scuby is intrigued

He was such a purr ball! He loved to play, and torment the dogs, until he learned Scuby could walk fences too. Then they became partners in crime. And they both seemed to take up the whole twin bed at night, giving me just inches to sleep on.

Baby the poodle

She was such a nut. She got so excited for people to see her. With her is a little cat whose name was "Tiger"

Zivago, Scuby & Baby after a day at the Doggie parlor

This is Zivago, his lady friend Tanya, and Scuby. They would sleep in the garage at night when it was too cold out.

Tanya

She was an Alaskan Malamute. Zivago's girlfriend, boy did they get in trouble at Bodega Bay. Lets say fog so thick you could not see your hand in front of your face. Well the two of them found the place that fish were being cleaned for a barbecue, and they did what dogs do! And of course they brought that lovely smell into the camper.

Lady

Sitting with Linda, Lady was all white with a black patch of fur on one eye.

Spooky

This was Michael's cat, she was born deaf. She was quite a character.

"Big Bird" the cockatiel, he use to say whose a pretty bird? "Big Bird" Breezy and Drifter two little parakeets.

Ginger with Grandpa & Travis
This is the only Dog my boys got to know, due to their allergies. Ginger belonged to my Mom & Dad or should I say they belonged to her. Truly one of the sweetest dogs ever. She use to love her basket of little stuffed toys, and she was so gentle with the kids. She never even blinked to their silliness, just always looked like she had a smile on her face. She use to let them take all her toys and line them up all around her and on top of her. What a gentle soul she was, and I know how much she is missed, thank you Mom & Dad for sharing her with the boys, they really loved her too.
