Welcome! I grew up on Oahu, Hawaii, where I graduated from Aiea High School. From there, I attended Leeward Community College, then transferred to the University of Hawaii, with a major in Psychology. After obtaining my BA, I got married, moved to California, and attended Pepperdine University in Malibu. There, I earned my Master in Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on Marriage, Family and Child Counseling.
It is my goal to teach Psychology full time at a community college. Right now, I am teaching Introduction to Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, and Life Span Development at Moorpark College , and Introduction to Psychology at College of the Canyons, Pasadena City College, and LA City College (all part time). I have also taught at Citrus College and Mt. San Antonio College. Classes that I have taught include: Introduction to Psychology, Life Span Development, Abnormal Psychology, Marriage & Family, Adjustment, and Child Growth & Development. Right now, I am scheduled to teach an Altered States of Consciousness class next semester (Spring 2000) at Moorpark College, which sounds interesting!
Currently, I am attending the University of Southern California. (This is my second year, Fall 1999.) I am enrolled in an Ed.D. program in Community College Leadership. So, I should have my doctorate degree in a few years. I am interested in studying the use of technology in the classroom, as well as distance education.

And my proud parents...
Hitting the slopes! (Well, at least, the green slope... I'm still not all that great at snowboarding yet. But, I'm trying!)
At the Grand Canyon...I found I was scared of heights...
