RicksWM - an X Window Manager

RicksWM is a Window Manager for X using the X11::Protocol module.
RicksWM:

has multiple workspace capability.

allows each workspace to have its own background color.

allows workspaces to be switched from shell scripts.

has sloppy focus.

has limited gesture capability, allowing the
window manager to run any of fifteen commands by
gesturing on the root window.

has gesturing for max-vertical and max-horizontal

has a stopsign for window close warning
without requiring extra clicks

allows the focus window to be highlighted differently.

has a key grabber (hotkey) built in.

can restart itself with changed options.

A general purpose menu program (in C) that can be started by the
window manager is also included.
The menu program:

can either run shell scripts or print to stdout, allowing
it to be used for responses in other scripts.

can select only one item and exit, or stay up for
multiple selections (like a pinned menu).

can take menu items from stdin, making dynamic
menus easy.

has 3D and slant button menu capability.

can be used for dialog boxes.
-
can be used for timed notices,
-
can display buttons in different colors,
-
can show current workspace in its title.
-
can hide itself behind an analog clock face, exposing
the menu when the cursor moves over it.
