Student Ministry Update
Dear Calvary Family,
The mission of Calvary Student Ministries is to reach the students of South Pasadena with the Gospel and to help them to grow in relationship with Christ and others.
We do this by reaching out to students, engaging them in times of worship and fellowship, training and challenging them in the Christian life and encouraging them to reach their own friends.
Our summer lineup includes:
- < POOL PARTIES - Tuesdays 6-8 p.m.
- This is a time of fun and food for the Jr High students. The party is held at a different pool each week. Students need to bring a swim suit, towel, sun screen, a medical release form and $3 to cover the cost of a BBQ dinner.

- < BEACH PARTIES - Fridays 2-9 p.m.
- High school students from Calvary and other local churches gather at
- Huntington Beach for an awesome time of fun in the sun. Eighth graders are not only welcome, but encouraged to attend as they transition into the Sr. High group. There will be games, food, and a Bible talk.. All students should meet in the Calvary parking lot with $5 and a medical release form.
- < JAMBA JAM - Sundays 9-9:55 a.m.
- Students are invited to bring a friend and come hang out at Jamba Juice on Sunday mornings before worship. This time is devoted to hanging out and getting to know one another better.
- < GROW GROUPS - Sundays 7-8:30 p.m.
- Grow groups are designed as a time of music, food, prayer, mixers and Bible study. Students are divided according to gender and age to form four groups in which they will study a common Bible topic.
