Desktop Theme

Here is a picture of the Clan MacNeill Desktop theme for Microsoft Windows:

The desktop wallpaper shows the main street of the town of Castlebay on the island of Barra, looking towards the bay. The castle in the bay is Kisimul Castle, the seat of the MacNeills for almost 1000 years.

In addition to wallpaper, desktop themes use icons, pointers, sounds and fonts:

Icons

	My Computer	My computer is my castle...or is it, my castle is my computer.
	Network Neighborhood	In days of old, MacNeill networking was often done by ship, especially "pirate" ships.
	Recycle Bin Empty	This icon appears when the recycle bin is empty.
	Recycle Bin Full	This icon appears when the recycle bin is full.

Pointers

	Busy	The famous "bloody red hand", one of the enduring symbols of our ancestry.
	Working	Symbolic of the MacNeills in battle.

Sounds

There are also a number of sound files to capture the theme of a medieval castle.

Fonts

True to our Celtic heritage, the font used on window titles and other components is (Celtic Gaelige Regular).

In order to use the Clan MacNeill Desktop Theme, you must have WinZip and Microsoft Plus! for Windows installed on your computer.
