This project for the computer science department consists of 3500 S.F. of space, remodeled to create a large open workstation area shared by students, faculty, visitors, and administrative staff. A new ktchenette / coffee bar provides a place for informed interactions, while two conference rooms create areas for more structured meetings. A new lounge with automatic fire doors to the corridor is shared by the entire building and injects welcome natural light and exterior views to the previously claustrophobic corridor.
