Haas Clubhouse Recreational Facility 
University of California, Berkeley

Reif-Shaffer Architects was engaged to remodel
the men's and women's locker rooms at this
recreational facility in Strawberry Canyon in 2003.
At that time, the 1958 building was in a 
dilapidated condition and required replacement
of floor, wall, and ceiling finishes, as well as dry
rot repair. In the process of upgrading the finishes,
the layouts of the restroom, shower, and changing
areas were reconfigured to meet current 
accessibility code requirements.
