The project was designed to update and expand an existing residence with a mature landscape of palm trees.  Multiple small additions were removed.   The extensive addition includes a long light filled hall which connects a large living room, bedroom, bath and stair to an existing bedroom loft.   Updated fixtures and finishes fill the gracious dining room with the salvaged grilles as highlights. A new home office with built-ins occupies a former closet and circular stairway.  A large walk-in pantry completes the kitchen to support the Owner’s catering business.

Art Deco detailing and antiques are incorporated though out this light-infused home.  The additions and renovations become the settings for multiple types of entertaining: from small intimate dinners to large parties with imported dance floors.
