Parkerson Residence Remodel San Francisco, CAThis post-earthquake, 450 s.f. cottage was gutted and remodeled into a two-bedroom house for a single father and his infant daughter. The work included seismic, mechanical and electrical code upgrades, as well as new access to the garden and basement. The exterior siding was replaced and the front facade re-worked to create a diminutive version of the neighboring Victorian homes. Storage was incorporated into each room; every inch was considered to maximize the utility of this tiny, light-filled home.
